CRAFTING A UNIQUE SOLUTION FOR OUR CLIENTS NEEDS.
Our team is sharing experiences from some of their favorite projects. Melissa Foster discusses a holiday project with Expeditors.
THE PROJECT
Expeditors threw a corporate party and ordered embroidered duffle bags filled with customized goodies. The products are typically delivered to our Lasting Impressions office. The bags needed to be assembled and the party was that evening.
OUR SOLUTION
Melissa delivered the products and spent the day helping Mike & Renee Douglas complete an assembly line to stuff the duffles.
The bags were embroidered through Flying Colors, and inside each bag were Funky Chunky peanut butter cups in large tins, a bluetooth speaker from Starline with true color printing, a set of four stemless wine glasses from Flying Colors, a phone charger from Origo Audio, a ‘Thanks for being #1’ red foam finger from Laur Lu, a light up necklace, and a throw blanket from Kanata Blankets. All of these items were found when Mike & Renee attended the Ford Field event in September along with our holiday promo event.
The party was held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Downtown Detroit, so we curated the bags to have a music theme. Something that was reminiscent of fun times and attending concerts at DTE. Expeditors rented out the entire Hard Rock Cafe on a Friday night, just for their employees.
“It was a great experience to help Mike & Renee complete such a unique project in a crunch!”
Thoughts from Melissa: I felt so accomplished and fulfilled knowing that Mike & Renee appreciated my help for pulling this off in a time crunch. I don’t like to say no unless I absolutely have to. I even helped drive the bags down to Hard Rock Cafe that day. It took all three of our SUVS, but we got them there on time for the party that night! It will be one of my favorite moments/memories in my career of working in the promotional products marketing industry.
